CUFS to Oracle Transition Schedule
  • On March 12th, the decision will be made on whether we go-live with Oracle Financial Management System (FMS) on April 1st. As a result, we are asking the departments across campus to be aware of the following schedule and key dates. The University will be notified through e-mail and on the Vice President for Finance (VPF) web site if we do not go-live on April 1st.
  • March 10 - Final import of purchasing card transactions using the CUFS number.
  • March 14 - Final day for department to get all correspondence and forms to VPF for processing under CUFS. Any items received after this date will be processed under Oracle FMS in April.
  • March 15 - Departments are to begin using the new VPF forms with the Oracle FMS account numbers. Account Code conversion Web page is:https://epprod.cats.ohiou.edu:9010/AcctConv/newaccount.jsp .
  • Remember to download the new forms from:www.finance.ohiou.edu/forms. Any forms received with the old account number (CUFS) will be returned to the department to supply the new Oracle FMS account number.

  • March 20 - Final day to edit and approve purchasing card transactions.
  • March 21 - Final deposits under CUFS to be at the Cashiers Office by 2 p.m.
  • March 26 - Begin distributing final CUFS reports.

CUFS Reports
  • All accounts should be reviewed and corrected before the University closes the books for CUFS and implements the Oracle Financial Management System (FMS). Changes after closing CUFS will be limited. This stresses the importance for reviewing financial reports during this time. Corrections should be completed no later than 90 days after the expenditure was incurred within the same fiscal year

Campus Financial Meetings
  • The next Campus Financial Meeting will be held Tuesday, March 18, from 2:00 - 3:00 p.m. in Clippinger 194. These meetings are open to anyone interested.
  • A web page has been created to post materials that are distributed at the monthly meetings. The address is as follows: http://www.finance.ohiou.edu/campusfmtg/index.htm.

Purchasing Card
  • All purchasing card transactions posted through February, 14 appear in the February, 2003 CUFS reports
